The journey of our fruit
In season
The journey of our fruit starts with the season. Wherever possible, we choose fruit that is at its best at that moment. This gives us more flavour and natural variety throughout the year.
Close to the source
Whenever possible, we work directly with local growers. This keeps the supply chain short and helps us better understand where our fruit comes from.
Less transport
We do not buy fruit that is transported by air. Wherever possible, we choose fruit from closer to home and avoid unnecessary kilometres.
Carefully selected
Before the fruit even starts its journey, we check taste, quality and ripeness. We also keep a close eye on everything during arrival and packing.
Fresh at the office
Only when everything is right does the fruit go into our crates. This way, it arrives fresh and ready to eat at your office.
Not everything grows nearby
Not every type of fruit is available all year round. Seasons, harvests and climate continue to determine what is available at any given time. That is why our assortment may sometimes change temporarily.
Some fruits, such as bananas, do not grow close to home. That is why we also work with growers and partners outside Europe. Always with attention to quality, sustainability and as few unnecessary kilometres as possible.
